After I finish paying he put up his close window sign or whatever the sign read. Then proceeded to give attitude to the person behind me in line because he had a lot of stuff to do in the back.
Gone here for years to mail my business and online orders for the company I own. The staff do their best to help me save money, and answer any questions. I have enjoyed using this location for years, and will continue to do so.
I don't typically leave negative feedback unless it's really bad like it was in this situation. I've never had this bad of an experience at a post office before I'm also planning on camping this to corporate.
The next issue I ran into was him telling me that it was going to cost me more because of the size of the box I chose to use. I asked him what the dimensions were for the next price down so I could try to save myself some money. He then proceeded to show me approximately how big with his hands. That's when I asked him if the computer said what the next size down was for a lower shipping cost. He said no and that information could be found online.
The first question I asked him was if it was possible to do return shipping where I could pay for the shipping to have the item returned to me after it was serviced. He stood there with a blank stare on his face for several seconds. He did not know the answer to that question and had to ask his coworker. She was very friendly, simple solution to the problem.
Wish I could give this place a -1. I have, never in my life, dealt with such rude staff. I don't know how the blonde lady deals with such a b*tch to her left. The first couple times I blew it off, just thinking she was having a bad day. Ten plus times at this location she has had attitude TO EVERY CUSTOMER she deals with. She needs to go. Taking all my business to the UPS Store across the street.
She spent more time announcing to the lobby that her co-worker was at the doctor's office but that she shouldn't be telling us that, because it is an invasion of privacy. Look, I work in a retail environment, there are times that you get busy and just don't have enough hands on deck to assist, but when you are that busy you do not need to be making jokes to the lobby full of customers about how your co-worker is out getting coffee (thought it was the doctor's office), and ask if anyone wants anything. I know I was not the only person there that was annoyed, but I had waited for almost 20 minutes, and I needed to get this package out, so I kept quiet and waited my turn.
This is the second time I've had the great displeasure of having Tim be the post office agent I had to use. He is the older gentleman in his fifties mustache brown hair. I don't mail a lot of things out so I had a just a few questions about how to ship my item.
I then told him I would like the package sent via Priority Mail. Which he quickly and almost snidely responded by asking me if I had a shipping label done in a tone as if I was such an imposition for him having to do his job. I told him I would need one because I wasn't sure what kind of label I needed for the method of shipping I used. He handed me a label and asked me to step aside so we could help other customers while I fill that out.
The passport process was simple and quick for me to do. There is a lovely man who works there who is black (do not know his name), who is the kindest worker I've encountered at this location. Very helpful and patient
Then I told him it wasn't necessary for me to do the return shipping and then I would just have it sent there and figure it out another way. Even still there looking dumb founded motionless for several more seconds.
This woman has also tried to put her makeup on me to see if it blends well with my complexion, asks way too personal of questions, and eats while she is helping people. She needs to go. Until then, I will be shipping via UPS or the Perrysburg post office.
This is the absolute worst post office ever. It is the only downside to living in Maumee. I waited in line for 20 minutes the day after Christmas where they only had one worker (Dawn), and she was either on something or needs to be. She quoted me $25.95 for my package to get to Florida and a 21 cent stamp for something that she said felt "rigid" in an envelope. Then somehow my total came to $37.85 and when I asked why she said that she wasn't paying attention and misquoted me when I saw the $25 postage on the screen. I took my package and envelope and told her I was taking it to UPS, when she then offered me driving directions.
