FYI: the cost of the emergency visit itself is $75, and then the costs of anything else needed is added to that (the bandaging for my dog was $10). They also have a vet there until midnight each night, although it sounds like they are technically open 24 hrs.
You obviously never want to have to visit a place like this, but if you ever need to, these people are amazing! My dog had cut his leg badly in two places so we took him here. There was no wait, the quickly came up with a plan, and got him taken care of. The staff was all super friendly and treated my dog with care. Obviously the only downside is services like this are not cheap, but that is to be expected.
My experience: Went here at 7:45pm on a weekday after our vet's office was closed. Our poor girl has been having issues with her nails separating, and caught one and snagged it pretty good. The vet tech that brought us in was really kind, listened to my concerns. Dr. Swanson (the vet that night) was very caring and explained everything. He checked what meds she was already taking before deciding on the pain meds to give her. They bandaged her up and we were out by about 8:30pm. It was not busy when we got there so they helped us right away. I was really pleased with the service we got here, and the way they took care of my dog.
I brought my older cat in for emergency care, my cat was basically lifeless, gasping for air, could not even move. The dr on staff (wish I knew his name) recommended to try steroids at an attempt to save his life. My cat had something of unknown cause attacking his RBCs. Because of this HORRIBLE vet and I listened to him because I was clinging onto any chance that my cat would survive I had to go home and watch my cat stuffer and die in my arms because that idiot dr. could not recognize signs of very basic end of life signs. Looking back I should have noticed it myself but I was too upset. I could not even go in when it got so bad to put the cat to sleep because they are not even open 24 hours which is advertised on their website because they cannon staff the place! This place is horrible NEVER take your animal here!!!!
I was soo happy I went to this veterinary emergency center, everyone was amazing. :) I called them first and explained what was going on with my cat. They took the time to tell me over the phone what could be going on and to bring him in asap...Then as soon as I brought my cat in the office they took him back right away and checked him out. Then as soon as they knew what was going on they came out to let me know ...LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE GUYS.... :) Would definitely take my pets there again if needed...
